VFW Post 3693 Visits Barnside Brotherhood for a Day of Fellowship and Support

On Friday, May 15th, Barnside Brotherhood had the honor of welcoming members of Veterans of Foreign Wars for a special day centered around fellowship, community, and support for local veterans and their families.

Throughout the day, approximately 20 veterans and family members stopped by to visit, share stories, and enjoy time together. The event created an atmosphere of camaraderie and appreciation, highlighting the strong bond that exists within the veteran community.

One of the day’s highlights was the generous donation of new boots for veterans in attendance. Two lucky veterans went home with brand-new pairs, a meaningful gesture that was greatly appreciated and warmly received.

Guests were also treated to a delicious crawfish lunch sponsored by Hole ‘N Da Wall Seafood. The meal brought everyone together around the table and added to the welcoming spirit of the day.

Barnside Brotherhood is grateful to everyone who helped make the event possible, especially the members of VFW Post 3693, the families who attended, and Hole In Da Wall for their generous sponsorship. Events like these serve as an important reminder of the value of community support and the importance of honoring those who have served our country.

We look forward to continuing to build relationships with local veterans and creating opportunities for connection, encouragement, and fellowship in the future.
